Planning a friendsâ trip? Wonderful! Accidentally booking a room where the shower, toilet, or entire bathroom is part of the bedroomâs âvisual experienceâ? Less wonderful.
Some all-inclusive resorts have gorgeous rooms designed with romance in mind. That may be perfect for couples. But for friends, siblings, cousins, in-laws, girlsâ trips, guysâ trips, it can turn a relaxing vacation into a nightmare.
Use this tool to try to get a clearer idea of the bathroom privacy situation before you book. While we will flag whether a resort appears to be privacy-friendly, limited, or open-concept, there were some we were unable to confirm fully (sorry! I can’t visit every all-inclusive…at least, not yet). Always do your due diligence and double check the room layout.
Quick Bathroom Privacy Disclaimer
This finder is a research shortcut for travelers who care about bathroom privacy. It is not a live inventory feed. Room layouts, renovations, glass opacity, curtain placement, and room-category details can change.
Use the evidence links, then verify the exact room category directly with the resort or your travel advisor before booking, especially for friend groups, family groups, room shares, and anyone who does not want open-concept, frosted-glass, or see-through bathroom layouts.
I canât personally visit every resort or inspect every room category, so treat this as a helpful starting point. Before booking, check the resortâs official room page, photo gallery, recent traveler photos, and traveler reports for the exact room you plan to reserve.
All-Inclusive Bathroom Privacy Finder
Search resorts by name, destination, city, country, or bathroom setup to see whether the room layout appears private, open-concept, frosted glass, glass-walled, or needs extra verification before a friend trip.
đĄ How to use this tool
Try the official resort name, a destination like Cancun or Jamaica, or a bathroom phrase like glass bathroom, open concept, water closet, or friends.
Before you book, always verify the exact room category directly with the resort or your travel advisor. One room may have a proper door, while another may have a shower situation that requires a group text and a schedule.
May your vacation be full of good food, great laughs, and beautiful views you actually want to see. Reach out if you’re ready to book your getaway.
