Here’s one of my (not-so-favorite) favorite travel problems:
You find six restaurants you want to try…and only have two days.
West Palm Beach Food Tours basically solves that problem for you.
According to the company’s current Downtown West Palm Beach Food Tour listing, the experience includes five restaurant stops, enough tastings to equal a meal and one cocktail or nonalcoholic alternative.
The current direct-booking price is $84 per person, and the tour lasts about 2 hours and 45 minutes.
You’re Not Walking Miles Between Restaurants
This matters in South Florida.
The operator says you’ll average about two blocks between air-conditioned restaurants.
Thank God. If you’ve ever lived (or step foot) in Florida and encountered the heat/humidity, you know exactly what I mean. 😂
Along the way, you’ll also learn about West Palm Beach history, culture and tropical foods rather than simply being shuffled from plate to plate.
Visit Palm Beach’s current tour information also notes that the experience incorporates locally owned restaurants, street art and regional flavors such as key lime pie.
Who Might Love It?
- Foodies
- Couples
- Girls’ weekends
- Solo travelers
- First-time Palm Beach visitors
- Locals looking for new restaurants
- Cruise travelers spending extra time nearby
Why I Like Food Tours Early in a Trip
You’re basically doing edible research.
Try five places.
Decide which ones you love.
Return later.
That’s a considerably better strategy than discovering your favorite restaurant at 8 PM on the final night of your vacation.
OYHT Take
Instead of gambling an entire meal on one restaurant you’ve never visited, you get to sample several places while learning something about the city.
That’s my kind of research.
Heads up: This article was written using info available in August 2026. New reviews may be added at any time, and prices, schedules or inclusions may change. Weather conditions and wildlife sightings, where applicable, are never guaranteed. So don’t blame me 🙃
