Finding an all-inclusive resort as a vegan or vegetarian can feel like playing menu roulette. If you’re a plant-based traveler, some resorts will make you feel like a VIP; whereas others will make you feel like an afterthought.
That’s why I created this Vegan & Vegetarian All-Inclusive Resort Finder.
I’ve reviewed and ranked hundreds of resorts across Mexico, the Caribbean, Africa, Asia, Europe, and beyond so you can quickly see some resorts worth considering, which ones deserve a closer look, and which ones may leave you searching for your next meal. Simply type in a resort name below and start exploring.
Before you use this finder: plant-based travel disclaimer
This Vegetarian & Vegan-Friendly Resort Finder is a planning guide, not a guarantee. Resort restaurants, menus, chefs, dietary policies and food offerings can change at any time.
Ratings distinguish between current property-specific evidence and broader brand-level accommodation. Resorts with direct menus or property pages confirming vegan or vegetarian choices are weighted more strongly than resorts supported only by brand guidance or traveler reports.
If your diet is strict, request current menus and confirm ingredients, preparation methods and cross-contact procedures directly with the resort before booking.
Vegetarian & Vegan-Friendly Resort Finder
Find resorts that better match your vegetarian or vegan travel needs, then filter by destination and level of supporting evidence.
Ready to book a hotel? Reach out! I’d love to take all the travel plans off your hands.
And if you know of one that isn’t included here, then drop a comment below! Help your fellow vegans/vegetarians avoid eating the same salad 7-nights in a row!
Frequently Asked Questions
A few quick answers before you start looking for a resort where plant-based dining means more than salad and fries.
Are these resorts completely vegan?
Usually, no. This finder focuses on vegan-friendly and vegetarian-friendly resorts, not just resorts that are completely vegan.
Some properties may have dedicated vegan restaurants, separate plant-based menus, or especially strong vegan offerings, while others simply do a much better job accommodating plant-based travelers than the average resort. The finder helps you see that difference before you book.
Can resorts accommodate vegan travelers?
Many can, but the quality of those options varies quite a bit. That’s exactly why this finder exists.
We look for stronger evidence of plant-based dining, such as dedicated vegan menus, vegan dishes across multiple restaurants, plant-based breakfast options, clearly identified menu items, and resorts with a stronger reputation for accommodating vegan guests.
In other words, we’re trying to help you avoid arriving somewhere only to discover that “vegan-friendly” means you can eat lettuce for five days.
Should I contact the resort before arriving?
Yes, especially if your dietary needs are strict.
Menus, chefs, ingredients, restaurant concepts, and dietary procedures can change. Before you travel, it’s a good idea to ask the resort about current vegan or vegetarian menus, buffet labeling, ingredient substitutions, desserts, and how they handle specific dietary requests.
The finder gives you a much better place to start, but a quick confirmation before your trip can save you a lot of frustration once you’re there.
Does the finder include vegetarian options too?
Absolutely. This is a vegetarian and vegan-friendly resort finder, so you can look for resorts with strong options for either one.
Resorts are categorized based on the strength of the evidence we found, which may include vegan-friendly, vegetarian-friendly, strong options for both, or standout plant-based dining.
